Circuit City Rebate?
My husband bought me a laptop computer for Christmas. There was a $100 rebate which we carefully followed directions and sent in right after Christmas. We never received it. I’ve checked online and nothing. They won’t even answer my e-mails as promised. I’ve read some of your complaints on Yahoo Answers and I will never purchase anything from Circuit City again. Not only that, my laptop computer did not even come with any paperwork. I found that odd. I’ve heard it should come with a book, cd, ads. Don’t buy from Circuit City, especially if you’re offered a rebate!
We did return to the store and was told that the computer came with no paperwork and the rebate would take 8 weeks. It’s been 11 weeks.

links and pop ups that i want to access don’t work – i get a hand inside a red circle instead and no access.
someone else also accesses the computer and could have changed a setting. I can’t click underline links a coupon or links on even yahoo mail to work. It’s old – windows me running IE 6.0 Read something about maybe java or pop up blocker problems. I don’t have anything new on the computer than last week when it did work. On advanced settings Java sun (use JRE is check) and Microsoft VM, checked are java console enabled, java logging enabled and JIT compiler. Any help would be great. If this isn’t enough you can email me at bgheywood@yahoo.com and i’ll give more details gladly. This just recently happened and i used to never see this hand with the red circle around it when i clicked on links or pop ups which i wanted to view, etc.

Who has done the Blockbuster/Netflix challenge?
A couple of months ago, I tried both Netflix and Blockbuster Online at the same time (from a response I got here at Yahoo, by the way). I’ve read the consumer reports and all that stuff, and I ended up keeping BO because of the free in-store rental coupons every week. I recommend trying both and seeing which is better.
