Got a real bad can of lemonade, got a little sick, should I sue manufacturer?

Drank half a can of this stuff before I threw it out. Just thought something was in the ice. I opened another can an took a drink. Same stuff – carbonated – smelled like paint. The smell could be a mix of some citrus something and the excessive carbonation. The company wants to send me some coupons and have me send what I saved back. I’m OK with that, but, I found 1 more can in the back of the frig. It has the same date code as the previous 2 other bad ones. It all was in a 12 pack. 9 good 2 known bad 1 unopened.

Why does it take 6 to 8 weeks to receive a rebate in the mail?

I personally don’t think that stores should be allowed to advertise an item at a sale price which already reflects the rebate amount unless they plan to deduct that rebate amount at the time of the purchase since these mail in rebates take a ridiculously long time to be processed and mailed back to you…. usually you have to contact the manufacturer more than once to actually get that rebate at all.

Coupons and Rebates in a Reseller’s Cost of Goods Sold?

Consider this example… An individual buys $10 of Product at a store and applies $4 in manufacturer coupons to that purchase. The buyer then submits a $5 mail-in manufacturer rebate for the same products. Finally, the buyer resells the product for $10 with a $3 shipping expense.

Assuming that the reseller repeats a similar buying and selling habit with a wide variety of products forming part of their small business self-employment income, could that person report the net expenses for the products ($10 – $4 – $5 + $3 shipping = $4) as a cost of goods sold? Would the rebates be taxed as gross income rather than associated with the cost of goods?

this is my question?

A major manufacturer plans to issue a new corporate bond very shortly. The firm’s
outstanding bond issue has eight (8) years remaining until maturity and was issued with an 8% coupon and a par value of $1,000. The bond makes coupon payments quarterly to the investor. If comparable bonds are currently yielding 12%, what is the intrinsic value of the manufacturer’s bond?
