Especially this time of year when buying presents you need them for so many items & it’s hard to figure out just how many you’ll need. Some stores may be able to give you more than one, if you are diligent & count what you think you need but some stores can’t or won’t or you might get home & find out you needed more. Any ideas you know of that work?

i have serious mom issues i guess-heres my latest problem…
yesterday was birthday-all my friends,cousins im close to,my borther,and other misc family members called/sent cards… my MOTHER sent me an email-that simply stated ‘happy birthday’
who here would be pissed/hurt/angry/depressed/livid etc????
would you say something or let it go????
also it brought up other issues-like how when i lived my father between the ages of 13 and 17 she never once called,wrote,sent a gift or anything for my birthdays or for christmas…my husband thinks i should say something !!!!!
very hurt and depressed over this!!!any real advice would be helpful!!

Mcdonalds…i know he likes it and that’s really all i can afford. I’m afraid he is going to break up with me after tonight.
Also, his friends girlfriends buy gifts for their boyfriends, expensive gifts, like gucci and prada stuff. I defintieyl can’t afford that. What should i do. I bought him a card. Is dinner at mcdonalds and a card enough? should we go somewhere nice for dinner, maybe red lobster? we’ve been dating for 8 months. is there something else i can give him that won’t cost me much, but that he’ll enjoy?

This may sound like a trivial question, but how do companies benefit from offering “mail-in rebates” as opposed to just providing an upfront discount upon purchase???
I am in a transititon period in my life. An adult, but still in search of things, people and ultimately myself. At 24 I have managed to complete my bachelor’s degree and am currently working on my master’s. I believe that I have a lot to offer this world and a potential mate. I have no baggage in children, baby daddy’s, or even credit card debt. My question is…Why is it so hard for me to find someone out there comperable to me? I know in dating, that not everyone is going to be a match, but why does rejection bother me to the extent that it does? Should I consider it a gift that someone did not take to me or mope and dwell and introspect to the point of virtual depression to find an answer? I really am a good person, I’ve just had minimal luck with men. Any one know where to start? I’vd done the online thing with NO success….any suggestions of other places?
